But she wanted to know what the church was about, and how it had changed.
We discussed what the Orthodox Church was, and what the world was looking at.
Then we both went home, and she sat down in her living room, a photo of her and me.
“What did you think?” she asked.
“I thought I was the only one who knew,” I said.
I was wrong.
She was the first person I met who didn’t know.
