How to keep your church community members in awe after an Eagle Brook church militant’s suicide

This week’s front page of The Oregonian/OregonLive includes the story of a faith community church militant who shot himself in the head at the Eagle Brook community center.

The article focuses on the death of Reverend Michael H. Miller, who was killed Sunday morning at the church.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Sept. 19 at the St. John the Baptist Church, 618 NW 22nd Ave., Eugene.

Miller’s son, Michael Miller Sr., was among those who attended the service.

A GoFundMe account has been set up for Miller’s funeral.

A group called the Eagle Brooks Church Missionary Association has set up a GoFundMongers account for the family.

“Michael was a wonderful man, very much loved by everyone,” the group said in a statement Monday.

“He was a loving father, husband, son, brother and friend.

He was a man of great faith who loved God with all his heart.

His loss is a loss to us all.

He will be dearly missed.”

The family has set aside $10,000 to help the funeral fund.

The Eagle Brook Missionary Society has set a Go Fund Me account for Miller.

The group also has set the goal of raising $5,000.

The fund will be used to cover the funeral expenses.

The church has also set up an online fundraising page for the cause.

“It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the loss of Michael H Miller Jr.,” the page reads.

“His love for the Lord will always be with him, his faith will always guide his actions and his spirit will always inspire us to live more holistically.”

A memorial vigil will be scheduled at St. Anthony’s Episcopal Church at 6:30 p.m.

Monday, Sept 16, from 3 to 6 p. m.

The vigil is open to the public.

The memorial service is at St Mary’s Episcopal church at 7 p. p. at St Anthony’s.
